Sat 14 June 12pm - 3pm - The Big Knit
A free event from Knitting Norbury Together. To celebrate World Knit in Public Day, bring your knitting, a picnic and something to sit on to St Helen's Triangle, off St Helen's Road, in Norbury. There will be children's activities, storytelling, face painting, and of course, knitting.
June - Garden competition
The garden competition will be judged this month, awarding prizes to the top front gardens and 'small spaces'.
Sun 13th July, 1- 3pm - Northborough Park
Second annual Teddy Bear's Picnic
BYO picnic, with children's entertainment.
Autumn - Norbury Stories will return with an event in Norbury Library.
Norbury Stories
NVGRA organised a creative writing course at Norbury library in September. Local residents learned how to write plays and poetry, and enjoyed performances of plays featuring local actors.
Litter Free Norbury events
Litter Free Norbury arranges litter picks with volunteer local residents, helping to keep the area clean and tidy. Visit their website to join their next litter pick.

Northborough Park opening
NVGRA helped to make sure that Northborough Park playground was refurbished and this year it had an official opening. Visit the park and enjoy and protect this valuable community space for future generations.
Teddy bear's picnic
To celebrate the opening of Northborough Park playground, we held a teddy bear's picnic in the park, to allow local families to enjoy the new facilities. See more on the NVGRA instagram feed.
